How To Maintain Autoclave Equipment
Autoclave is a widely used machine in brick industry, rubber industry, wood drying and preservative treatment process, heavy metal smelting, consistent glass steam curing, and other industries. As an effective equipment, autoclave needs maintenance and inspection in daily life to ensure efficiency and safety. There are some aspects that we should pay attention to:
Inflexibility of autoclave door
During the use of autoclave, the door would be hard to close. If the vertical of autoclave kettle body flange is in good condition, we can overcome this problem by adjusting the positioning screw nut on the door to make the lower end surface of the door outwards about 5mm than the upper side. If the vertical of autoclave kettle body flange is in bad condition, we should adjust it to be vertical or make the below side incline slightly inward(no more than 2mm). If the door of the top opening autoclave is not flexible, we can adjust the position or the weight of the balance brick accordingly.
Leakage of autoclave
Air leakage in autoclave equipment is also a very common problem, which will affect the quality of products in the autoclave. We can inspect the sealing ring first. If the sealing ring is used for a long time or broken, change it. The debris in the seal face and cover flange should be cleaned. The phenomena such as inlet pipe is clogged or the sealing rings be placed uneven or appear twist should be avoided. Checking the pipes, tightening bolts and repairing or replacing the valve gaskets to avoid the steam leakage in pipe joints and valves. Closing tightly the autoclave door and steam discharge valve.inspecting like this is the guarantee of product quality and energy saving.
Daily maintenance
Besides these problems, daily maintenance of autoclave is also important.there are several steps to maintain it:
Maintain the hand speed reducer in good lubrication condition
Outside of sealing ring be painted lubricant regularly
Avoid mechanical damage of autoclave body and door
Clean residual material daily and thoroughly clean regularly
Keep the downside of movable bearing clean to make it expand freely
Maintain the safety accessories work normally
