Some knowledge about the seal ring of autoclave
The sealing ring of autoclave,as the special rubber sealing part,is installed in the flange seal groove of kettle door,its working principle is that the external supply of steam pressurize the seal pot cover,when the rated pressure is reached, the sealing ring begins to seal relying on the pressure of the kettle body itself.
The installation of autoclave seal ring
Before installation,rubber gasket should be vertically folded in half twice and coated with four marks,put the seal ring into the groove aiming the four points on the horizontal and vertical diameters of seal groove,then,press the corresponding 1/4 perimeter into the groove.
The cleaning of autoclave seal ring
In addition to the rust,the aging rubber debris will stick on the seal groove,there are also product residue and condensed water fouling and other dirt,which will affect the service life of seal ring,therefore,the seal ring should be clean out when replaced,at the same time,the blocking of ventilation ducts can be avoided.
