In the operation of coal fired steam boiler,the temperature fluctuations can cause a range of hazards,the high temperatures will cause superheater tube wall temperature rise,the low temperature will affect the the gas consumption increase of gas users,even damage the equipment,so we need to adjust the temperature of coal fired steam boiler.In this text,two adjustment ways will be introduced:

Adjusting the temperature by adjusting combustion

When the temperature changes in load regulation,it is mainly controlled by adjusting the combustion:

A,when the external load is constant,the pressure is quite stable,and the temperature is lower,we can adopt increasing the air input,adjusting the secondary air and other measures to increase the flue gas flow,improve the furnace outlet flue gas temperature,to improve the steam temperature.

B,adjusting the burning intensity by regulating the fuel amount,air output,air input. For example: When the external load reduces,the pressure and temperature rise at the same time,we can weaken the combustion to make the pressure and temperature drop at the same time.

Adjusting the temperature by using desuperheater

A,the mixing desuperheater is injecting the water supply or condensate directly into the steam,part of the superheated steam heat in the superheater is used for heating and evaporating the water injected,so that the steam temperature drops.

B,coal-fired steam boiler surface desuperheater uses the feed water to cool the superheated steam,adjust the temperature.When the feed water through desuperheater increases,when entering the superheater high-temperature segment,the steam temperature will drop; on the contrary, when reducing the amount of feed water, the steam temperature will rise.
