Heavy Fuel Oil Boiler
Heavy oil is the residual heavy oil extracted from crude oil and diesel oil, which is characterized by large molecular weight and high viscosity. The proportion of heavy oil is generally 0.82 ~ 0.95, specific heat in 10000 ~ 11000kcal/kg or so. Its main components are hydrocarbons, also containing part (0.1 to 4%) of sulfur and trace inorganic compounds, mainly for large steam boiler fuel.
The amount of heavy oil resources is very large, the geological reserves of crude oil are about 8630 tons, and if the recovery rate is 15%, the recoverable reserves of heavy oil is 1233 tons. Venezuela's super heavy oil and Canada's asphalt accounted for more than half of the total. This is only proven reserves, the actual heavy oil resources may be more.
In 1996, the annual output of oil was 3.5 billion tons, and the output of heavy oil was 290 million tons, accounting for about 5%-10% of the total output. Among them, Canada's heavy oil production was 45 million tons, Oil production in the United States was 30 million tons, and the rest of the output from other countries in the world, including China, Venezuela, Indonesia and so on.
According to different uses, heavy fuel oil (HFO) boilers can be divided into HFO hot water boiler, HFO heating boiler, HFO steam boiler and so on. The application of HFO boilers: residential central heating, swimming pool, pharmaceutical factory, package plant , (hotels, dormitories, schools, mixing stations) hot water supply, textile dyeing and printing industry, clothing industry, food factory.
