Oil is definitely more expensive than gas, coal and biomass. Therefore, the fuel consumption of oil-fired boilers is a concern of many customers, then, how to calculate the fuel consumption of oil fired boilers?
At present, the common series of condensing oil-fired boilers are mainly light diesel boiler, methanol boiler, kerosene boilers, etc. These boilers are mainly SZS condensing boiler and WNS horizontal package boiler, of course. Because of the particularity of the oil fired boiler type, its combustion efficiency is generally more than 95%, coupled with the high calorific value of oil, so in the calculation of fuel consumption of oil fired boiler, it is easy to get a satisfactory result for the customers who want to buy oil fired boiler.
1. Fuel consumption calculation of high efficiency oil fired boiler
a. Hourly fuel consumption of oil fired steam boiler in operation = hourly gas production of oil fired steam boiler * fuel steam heat-feed water heat) / fuel low calorific value * boiler thermal efficiency
b. 1 hour fuel consumption = water weight (Kg) * specific heat capacity of water * temperature difference (temperature difference between inlet and outlet water) / fuel heating value * boiler thermal efficiency
The above two methods are more specific, but in fact, we can use the unified calculation formula of boiler fuel consumption to roughly estimate, and after truly determining the boiler parameters, then by the boiler manufacturer's engineers to accurately calculate.
General formula for oil consumption per hour of oil fired boiler: 3600* thermal power / fuel calorific value / boiler thermal efficiency
Taking a 10 ton oil fired boiler as an example, its thermal power is 7MW. Assuming that the combustion heat value of an oil-fired fuel is 42Mj/kg and the boiler fuel efficiency is 95%, it can be concluded that a 10-ton boiler needs fuel consumption per hour = 3600*7/42/0.95, which is about 630 kg.
