10t/hr Multi-fuel Boiler With Either Fuel Oil or/and Gas With Working Pressure of 1000kpa
Recently we received a letter from a client saying: "We would be looking for a boiler that would be able to provide steam at a rate of 10t/hr, with a working pressure of pressure of 1000kPa. The boiler would need to be a multi-fuel boil that would be able to handle either a solid in conjunction with either fuel oil or/and gas. It would be a co-fired boiler that will be primarily fired on fuel oil, substituted by process by-products. The process by-products are either a variable gas stream, or alternatively an oil-infused cellulose solid (which has a low CV – approximately 15MJ/kg) (approximate quantity – 150t/month).

Gas consumption of 10 ton gas steam boiler
The calculation formula of gas consumption of gas boiler is: gas consumption of gas boiler (hourly) = power of gas boiler * time / calorific value of fuel / utilization rate of calorific value of gas boiler. The calorific value of fuel is calculated according to 35.53MJ/Nm3,
Therefore, the gas consumption of a 10-ton gas boiler=7MW*3600s/35.53MJ/Nm3/90%=788m3/h.
It can be seen from the above that the amount of gas consumption is related to the calorific value of the fuel and the thermal efficiency of the boiler, which requires us to choose the fuel with high calorific value and the boiler with high thermal efficiency as much as possible.

Factors affecting the price of a 10-ton gas-fired steam boiler
1. The brand selection of boiler main body and auxiliary machine, the price of different brands is very different;
2. The selection of boiler materials, different materials have different prices;
3. Furnace types with different structures have different prices. Gas steam boilers have ZG type and SZS type, and the price of choosing different types is also different. 4. Due to the difference in design, quality and material selection of various manufacturers, the optional burners will also be very different, and the prices of gas-fired steam boilers will also be different.
