Boiler Selection to Small Thermal Power Plant

Large scale thermal power plants, often choose hyper-pressure circulating fluided bed boiler to steam generation. However, small scale thermal power plant boiler owners often are confused in boiler selection.Here are some advice to same scale power plant owner.

First, below 35 ton boiler, you can freely choose chain grate boiler, corner tube boiler, and low speed circulating fluided bed boiler.
Second, up to 65 ton boiler, you would better consider high pressure circulating fluided bed boiler. High pressure and high capacity boiler runs costly, which means thermal efficiency of the boiler is totally important.
Thirdly, fuel as high sulfur coal, circulating fluided bed boiler could be the best. Co-firing biomass pellet and coal boiler is very popular now.
Fourth, the same capacity boiler should use the same type of equipment original factory. Original factory must know their products best.
Firth, if weather conditions are appropriate, you should use the outdoor boiler. Outdoor boilers have lower building costs than indoor ones.
